How does a computer turn words into numbers?

This small browser experiment demonstrates a standard natural-language-processing representation: Bag of Words. Enter two short passages, build a vocabulary, and compare the resulting word-frequency vectors.

Bag of Words

Bag of Words represents text by word occurrence. It is intentionally simple: it does not preserve word order or understand meaning.

Runs locally in your browser. This uses a standard educational Bag-of-Words representation and does not expose private project methods.

Vocabulary

Choose “Vectorize text” to compare the two passages.
